The Black Diamond Conference is an athletic conference that brings together 13 schools from southern Illinois. There are events for girls and boys that include basketball, golf, cross country run, softball, track and field events, volleyball, football and baseball. This high school athletic conference began in the year 1949 and is an ongoing event. While both the boys and girls play basketball, cross country, golf and track & field, football and baseball is for the boys only and softball and volleyball for girls alone. More...
